In 2004, AAPT received a record number (65) of paper submittals. The AAPT Board of Directors can only accept a limited number of papers for presentation at the Annual Meeting and publication on the hardcover journal (Volume 74). There were many more excellent paper offers and therefore the Board decided to accept an additional 11 papers for publication of the first AAPT Electronic journal which is titled Volume 74E. This journal is available on CD format only and has its own ISSN number (1553-5576). The CD is available now to all AAPT members for $25.00, and to non-members for $50.00.
