Different Grades of AAPT Membership

You are encouraged to apply for membership in the AAPT if your duties are such as to cause you to be interested in the field of asphalt technology or the materials and equipment used therein or teaching/research in the asphalt area. Three grades of AAPT are available as follows. Please select the grade commensurate to your qualifications.

Active Members

In lieu of the above requirements an applicant may offer ten years of experience in one or more of the fields of activity defined above including at least three years in a responsible position and may count as one-half of experience each year in a technical school from which work he/she did not obtain a degree.

Entrance Fee for Active Members $15.00; Annual Dues $110.00

Junior Member

The technical and experience requirements for Junior membership shall be the same as those for Associate membership. A Junior member shall be no more than 30 years of age.
