Upcoming Meeting

The Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists (AAPT) is an organization of about 850 members from around the world. AAPT was first organized with 19 members in 1924. The primary purpose of AAPT is to present and discuss the latest technology related to asphalt materials, mix design and construction specifications and procedures.

The 83rd Annual Meeting and Technical Sessions of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists are scheduled for April 27-30, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There will be about 250 attendees from around the world. They represent suppliers, consultants, contractors, universities, government agencies and other researchers. Their common interest is research into materials and methods on how to build better roads. AAPT Members and Non-Members are welcome to attend.

Each of the sessions include presentations by experts in the field followed by open discussions. The papers and discussions will be published in Volume 76 of the AAPT Journal.

There were 65 paper offers for the March 2006 AAPT Meeting. The Board of Directors developed the technical sessions from these offers.

Announcing two exciting events to be held during the 2008 Annual Meeting!

On-line registration for the 2008 Meeting has closed; you may register at the meeting beginning 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 27, at the Penns Landing Hotel.
